I love this quote.

What a great to live your life. Though it doesn't seem to be a Christian quote, I see it through the Christian filter. How wonderful to live a life of serving others and taking the awesome ride called life!
How about the lyric in Lonestar's song "Mountains"? The good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb.
Another great mental picture of how life is to be lived.
We would complain that life was boring if we didn't have ups and downs and curves along the way. I think God knew that. He's awesome like that.
